Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD) has hit good growth in both Revenue and Earnings, but shares still down secondary to food scare?
At least 10 people, including some Shawnee Mission students, suffered a gastrointestinal illness after visiting the restaurant last week (Kansas City Star).
“Although there is no conclusive link to our restaurant being the source of the illness, we voluntarily took these actions out of an abundance of caution. The restaurant reopened Sunday following consultation with the health department.”
Health officials are still investigating an outbreak of norovirus last month at the New Theatre Restaurant in Overland Park. More than 600 people have reported becoming ill after going to the theater. There are currently no confirmed cases of norovirus associated with Buffalo Wild Wings, the health department said.
